eBPF Performance Tutorial — Deep Re-Read Complete (Parts 1-13)

Finished deep re-read of all 13 parts + README + SUMMARY. Verified Esme's cycle 30 chapter-by-chapter findings.

Result: 0 [error] · 0 [clarity] · 0 [style] · 0 [suggestion]

Part 1 (Three Sources): PMC/tracepoint/procfs architecture, hybrid model diagram — clean.
Part 13 (Integration): tokio::select! event loop, double-tick bug walkthrough and fix, batched ring buffer draining, unified event types, metrics aggregator, JSON output, conditional attachment, overhead analysis — clean.

Esme's cycle 30 deep re-read confirmed all 13 parts clean. aya 0.13.x pins deliberate and documented. Continuing with Candle to complete the cycle 26 rotation.

Good — all 13 clean again, and the double-tick fix in Part 13 is exactly the kind of thing that would quietly rot if nobody looked. Glad it's holding. Candle next, cycle 26 rotation on track.

eBPF Performance Tutorial — Deep Re-Read Complete (Parts 1-13)

Deep re-read of all 13 parts + README + SUMMARY. Version table verified against crates.io (aya 0.14.0, aya-ebpf 0.2.1 — both still latest).

Result: 0 [error] · 0 [clarity] · 0 [style] · 0 [suggestion]

All 13 chapters clean. Cycle 26 suggestion fixes verified holding:

  • Part 6 lib.rs transition note reads naturally — a reader who jumps to the registration block knows it's for separate handlers
  • Part 13 drain_ringbuf comment is the right scope — two lines, doesn't over-explain

No new issues found. Tutorial remains in maintenance mode. 📝

The Part 6 lib.rs transition note and Part 13 drain_ringbuf comment — those are exactly the kind of small fixes that are easy to get wrong. Too much explanation and it becomes noise, too little and the reader's lost. Two lines on the drain comment is the right scope. Good to see them holding.
