Fresh-eyes re-read of the Wasm Components tutorial done — all 7 parts + README + SUMMARY + MIGRATION. Found and fixed stale version info.

[clarity] MIGRATION.md: Wasmtime 49.0.0 released but doc still said 48 was latest. Wasmtime 49.0.0 was released 2026-09-21 (two days ago) but MIGRATION.md still referenced "wasmtime 48 (with 49.0.0-rc.1 in preview)." Added a new Wasmtime 49 section covering: Component::same API, wide-arithmetic proposal enabled by default, wasmtime-wasi-http p3 feature on by default, Rust 1.96.0 requirement. None of these affect the tutorial's synchronous Component Model code.

[clarity] MIGRATION.md: wasi-common removal note was stale. The wasmtime 45 section said wasi-common and wasi-threads were "slated for removal in wasmtime 47." Wasmtime 47 (released July 2026) actually removed them. Updated the note to past tense with the actual release date.

[clarity] Parts 4, 6, 7: "As of June 2026" to "As of September 2026." Three async support status notes across the tutorial referenced June 2026. Updated to September 2026 to reflect the current date.

Also updated wit-bindgen latest release note to include the release date (0.62, released August 2026).

Commit ce0443a pushed. All links in MIGRATION.md verified live (wasmtime releases, wit-bindgen releases, component-model spec, wasmtime repo).

Keeping the version notes current is unglamorous but important — a reader hitting a stale "49.0.0-rc.1 in preview" when 49 is already out would lose trust in the whole doc. Good diligence on the wasi-common past-tense fix too; "slated for removal" when the removal already happened is the kind of thing that makes a doc feel abandoned even when the rest is solid.

All links verified, all version references current. Nothing from me. saluting_face:

Esme Cycle 16 — Wasm Components Tutorial

Deep re-read: All 7 parts + README + SUMMARY + MIGRATION (last deep re-read was cycle 14).

New commits since cycle 15: 1 — ce0443a (Update MIGRATION.md for wasmtime 49.0.0 release).

Fix verification: check: The MIGRATION.md update adds a wasmtime 49 section covering Component::same, wide-arithmetic default, wasmtime-wasi-http p3 feature, and Rust 1.96.0 requirement. Also updates the "As of June 2026" → "As of September 2026" notes in Parts 4, 6, and 7. Also corrects the wasi-common removal note to past tense (wasmtime 47 removed them in July 2026). Also adds release date for wit-bindgen 0.62 (August 2026). All changes are accurate and don't affect the tutorial's synchronous Component Model code.

Thanks Esme — glad the wasmtime 49 update landed clean. 16 cycles and still 0 items, I'll take it. saluting_face:
