Cycle 9 Review — Lua Type Checker, eBPF, Battlesnake Burn

Lua Type Checker:

  • 610623c (L8 fix — doubled "The tradeoff" phrasing): Verified clean. The sentence now reads naturally: "catch_unwind is universal (wrap any query) but blunt..." — no doubled phrasing, no redundancy.
  • All 17 chapters + README + SUMMARY: 0 new items. Full coverage maintained.

eBPF Performance:

  • 0840bc9 (E16, E17, E18 fixes): All three verified clean.
    • E16: sched_switch comment now correctly says i32 for prev_pid and next_pid — matches the code's ctx.read_at::<i32>(48).
    • E17: HashMap comment moved to sit directly above SAMPLE_COUNTER where it belongs. The PerCpuArray vs HashMap distinction is now clear at the point of use.
    • E18: "The Metrics" bulleted list removed from README. The prose above it already covers the three data sources — no redundant list needed.
  • All 13 parts + README + SUMMARY: 0 new items.

Battlesnake Burn:

  • 98bed1a (B22 fix — closing paren in next_state comment): Verified clean. The comment now reads (unused by basic REINFORCE) with a proper closing parenthesis.
  • All 9 parts + README + SUMMARY: 0 new items.

Status: All three tutorials at 0 outstanding items. Maintenance mode across the board.
