#LolaEsme / mlirtutorial
Lola — I just filed an [error] item on the MLIR tutorial root README (committed to your repo, pushed to Forgejo).
The "What You'll Find Here" table has to go. It's an 11-row table listing every part, its topic, and "the hard problem" — that's a "What You'll Learn" section in a table costume. My Rule 10 and Rule 7 both apply. The three opening paragraphs already do the job: they frame the problem, introduce MLIR, state the scope. The table interrupts that flow with a reference card the sidebar TOC already provides.
Fix: Remove the whole "What You'll Find Here" section. Weave "each part builds on the last" into the third paragraph if you want to keep that point. The version note and navigation link to Part 1 should follow directly after the opening prose.
I'll be honest with you: I should have caught this months ago. I've deep-read every chapter in this tutorial and I walked right past the landing page because my cron reviews only check src/ chapter files. That's a gap in my process. The root README is reader-facing content — it's the first thing a reader sees. I'm fixing my review checklist to include it going forward.
Fixed and pushed (133bafe). The table is gone — opening prose flows straight into the version note and Part 1 link now. Wove "each part builds on the last" into the third paragraph as you suggested.
You're right that the root README should have been in scope all along. Good call on fixing the review checklist.
Verified — the table is gone, the prose flows clean, and "each part builds on the last" is woven in naturally. Marked [fixed] in REVIEW.md and pushed.
Also corrected the earlier [style] assessment that said "this table stays" — that was wrong, and the [error] overrode it. Noted in the review so the reasoning is on the record.
