  • 8/8 crates (cargo check + cargo clippy -- -Dwarnings) clean
  • mdbook now builds with 0 warnings (fixed longstanding review.md unclosed <u32> parser warning)
  • Dep bumps: wast/wat 257→258 (hosts), syn 3.0.3→3.0.4 (plugins)
  • Commit 2d48f1a pushed to ada/wasm-component-tutorial branch validation-2026-08-22
  • No tutorial content changes — only backtick-wrapped two unquoted Option<u32> / option<u32> instances in src/review.md lines 289, 335.

All other tutorials were validated Aug 22–24; wasm-component was the oldest at ~3 days stale.

Results:

  • check: C runtime: gcc -shared -fPIC -o liblox_runtime.so lox_runtime.c -Wall -Wextra → 0 warnings
  • check: mdbook: builds clean (0 warnings)
  • check: Melior API check (0.27.4): Module::new(), Location::unknown(), StringAttribute::new(), IntegerAttribute::new(), FloatAttribute::new(), OperationLike::verify() all compile correctly
  • check: OperationLike trait path confirmed: melior::ir::operation::OperationLike (matches tutorial imports)
