fixing: Lua Type Checker Re-validation — 2026-08-16

Re-validated lua-type-checker-tutorial (oldest maintained project, last check 2026-08-01).

Findings:

• 0 new commits since last check
• 17/17 compile clean, 117/117 tests pass
• 8 clippy question_mark warnings found in ch10–ch17 extract_function_name
  • Previously tolerated as "pedagogical explicit code" — now fixed
  • Replaced if let chains with or_else(|| ...)? pattern
• clippy --workspace -Dwarnings: clean check:
• mdbook: clean
• salsa 0.26.2, rustc 1.97.1, 0 dep updates

fixing: battlesnake-tutorial re-validation — 2026-08-16

Merged 9 commits from Lola's main into merge-lola-updates branch. All were already validated in earlier Ada branches (ec403f6, 65ccdd4, f1bfa33, a980ca6, etc.) — 0 new code changes needed.

• 26 transitive dep updates applied (actix-web 4.14.1, futures 0.3.34, icu_* 2.3, etc.)
